Creepy Bits is back! If you need a distraction from the real horror show going on in the States, then you need to settle in for the best, most horrifying season (ten episodes, each running from seven to twenty minutes) of innovative horror.

Creepy Bits Season 2
Each episode is a different story that deals with horrible creatures and situations hiding in plain sight with a running theme of human vs. nature, and isolation. The stories aren’t long, which I loved, but don’t let that disappoint you because the best scary stories are always the short ones. Each episode is helmed by a diverse range of talented filmmakers including Ashlea Wessel, Adrian Bobb, Kelly Paoli, Sid Zanforlin, and creator David J. Fernandes.

Creepy Bits Season 2 can be found exclusively on Hollywood Suite. Viewers can also binge all the episodes on Hollywood Suite On Demand.
I loved all the stories, but I will name a few of my favourites, starting with Leave No Trace, written and directed by David J Fernandes. A young couple is communing with nature, when the man (Mark Ford) is about to propose to the woman (Sarah Freia), but a noise distracts them and leads them to a pile of rocks. The rocks begin to take on a human shape and proceed to attack the couple. In flashbacks, we see that the couple were not nature friendly at all. I love films where nature takes its revenge.
Black Empanadas was written and directed by Sid Zanforlin and begins with a Spanish couple, Lucia (Sandra Aguilar) and Fernando (Renzo Garcia) deciding if they moved to the right neighborhood. They are opening a new shop that will be selling Empanadas. They are made to feel unwelcome in the neighborhood. Is their house haunted? Who is this spirit (Sylvia Neiman) and what does it want? The spirit wants to help the young couple and tells them to add a certain mushroom to their meat pies. The black empanadas are tasty but cause the rude customers (Ry Barrett) and (Krista Rowe) to suffer a mysterious fate.
Conclusion
I was surprised how much I liked Creepy Bits. The plots are unexpected, but great at doing the job of scaring us while teaching a lesson. Creepy Bits gets a thumb’s up from Granny.
