Lime Cordiale – Australian pop duo Lime Cordiale has mesmerized audiences with their dynamic energy and big pop hooks, showcased brilliantly in their latest single “The Big Reveal; Ou L’Hypocrite.” Blending vibrant pop hooks with clever lyrics and a theatrical vibe, the new track from brothers Oliver and Louis Leimbach is a sonic journey that captivates from start to finish. As they continue to amass a global fanbase, Lime Cordiale recently kicked off their headlining North American tour, treating fans across the US and Canada to their kinetic live performances and undeniable charisma. With their irresistible blend of indie-pop charm and boundless creativity, Lime Cordiale continues to solidify their place as one of Australia’s most exciting musical exports, leaving audiences eagerly awaiting each new revelation.
On “The Big Reveal; Ou L’Hypocrite”, Lime Cordiale states: “Louis’ original demo of this song had most of the elements there already except for the main line ‘I’m waiting for the big reveal.’ We started looking at the lyrics and realised it had this weird theatrical feel to it, so we pushed it harder into this world.
We’ve got a few aspiring actor friends that love bringing drama into their own lives. Especially when work is dry.
We discovered an old play by Moliere which translates to ‘The Imposter; or The Hypocrite’ which just felt way too fitting so that’s where we got this title for the song.
We wanted the production of this song to feel bold. The music video definitely shares that aesthetic. It’s in your face. Felix, our keys player, cranked the huge circusy-cabaret organ solo. That was the final touch on the song.”

Times, due out on July 12th via BMG. “Gaslight” is a captivating stomper full of horns, handclaps, and instant earworm of a chorus. On the new single, frontman Fran Healy states: “I read a few weeks ago that gaslighting was the most web searched word in the world. We are living in a time where our realities are being warped by bosses, leaders, friends, teachers and politicians. It really is everywhere. Gaslighters want to control you. They tell you things which undermine your confidence in yourself and make you question reality and it makes you feel like you’re going crazy.”
