Among the highlights are highly anticipated albums from British rockers Another Sky and boundary-pushing rapper Tierra Whack. Sheppard – Multi-platinum Australian pop band Sheppard is back with their new single “Edge of the Earth.” This marks the first release of 2024 for the group consisting of siblings George Sheppard (vocals/guitar), Amy Sheppard (vocals/keyboards), and Emma Sheppard (bass). The upbeat indie-pop smash drives along with instantly memorable melodies and retro flourishes. “Edge of the Earth” also has an equally vibrant Josh Harris-directed music video. Slow Joy – Dallas-based Chicano artist Esteban Flores, better known as Slow Joy, has announced Mi Amigo Slow Joy, a new EP due out June 7th via Mick Music. Produced by Mike Sapone (Oso Oso, The Front Bottoms, Grouplove), the EP serves as a follow-up to Slow Joy’s 2023 project, Wildflower. Along with the announcement came the release of the vibey lead single “Pulling Teeth.” Flores describes “Pulling Teeth” as “basically an apology to my wife for me not being the easiest person to deal with all the time,” adding “It’s one of those songs where it’s like, ‘Please don’t give up on me; I know I’m taking a little bit.’”

PARIS. – Burnaby, British Columbia’s very own PARIS. is out now with “BNB,” his new single via Universal Music Canada and Partners Record Label. Hot on the heels of his groundbreaking collaboration “Me N Mines” with fellow Filipino hip-hop artist MBNel, “BNB” further proves why PARIS .is one to watch. The rising hip-hop/R&B sensation sounds smooth on the Touré Caldwell produced cut. “’BNB’ is about being in the moment, and letting another person get into their comfort zone around you,” says PARIS. about the new single. “This song has a different bounce compared to most records out there. The difference between ‘BNB’ and my previous releases is the beat selection and the unique pockets I chose to flow on.”

Another Sky – English rockers Another Sky have released their new album Beach Day, out now via Fiction Records. The band’s 2020 debut album I Slept On The Floor was met with widespread acclaim, and Beach Day serves as a fitting follow-up with the band expanding their sound. The haunting and aggressive vocals of lead singer Catrin Vincent navigate listeners on a sonic journey through introspective depths and expansive soundscapes. Another Sky frontwoman Catrin Vincent on the message of the relationship between anger and freedom that plays through the album: “If you don’t move through anger, it’ll calcify into bitterness, and it’s not worth it,” she says, “but it’s about having the freedom to find and feel that anger. How can you move through something you don’t even know is there?”

WAKE ME – Denver-based rock outfit WAKE ME just dropped “Finger On The Trigger,” their brand new single. Produced by The Used guitarist Joey Bradford, the track combines soaring vocal delivery and a killer chorus. This instant earworm does have a message at its core, examining the toll of the anxieties of everyday life. “We had been exploring a new sound for our band with the combination of Collin at lead vocals and working with a new producer Joey Bradford of The Used,” shares the band on the new track. “This is one of the songs we ended up being most excited about not only because we thought it was great, but it was also very different than what we had been doing and perhaps not exactly what other bands were aiming for.”
