AJR – Chart-topping band AJR is heading out on the road for their first-ever arena tour. That’s right. Kicking off on April 2, 2024 in Norfolk, VA, you’ll be able to catch the “Bang!” and “Weak” hitmakers on The Maybe Man Tour in support of their recent The Maybe Man album. Along with that announcement comes the release of an Edoardo Ranaboldo-directed music video for the album’s standout track “Touchy Feel Fool.” The Groundhog Day-esque visuals perfectly fit the triumphant emotional journey of the track. Hockey fans are in for a special treat. The band of brothers (Ryan, Jack & Adam Met) is set to perform a medley of new tracks from The Maybe Man along with some of their biggest career hits at the 2024 NHL Stadium Series™ outdoor game on Sunday, February 18th at MetLife Stadium.

Ice Spice – We’re not above scatological humor here at Biff Bam Pop! and well, neither is Ice Spice. After teasing it for several weeks, the rising female rapper and one of the pop culture It girls of the moment is out now with her new single, “Think U The Shit (Fart).” The song is a tongue-in-cheek dismissal of someone who thinks that they’re all that. Ice Spice knocks the object of her ire down a few pegs over the track produced by her regular collaborator RIOTUSA. With the music video already racking up over 1.2 million views on YouTube, it’s clear that what Ice Spice is doing is working and the 24-year-old Bronx MC’s star power is only going to keep getting bigger.

YUNGBLUD & Lil Yachty – Alt-pop poster child YUNGBLUD dropped “When We Die (Can We Still Get High?),” his first new single of 2024. The song sees YUNGBLUD team up with rapper Lil Yachty. Not one to shy away from experimentation, as proven by Yachty’s 2023 foray into psychedelic sounds, this team-up makes sonic sense. How did this collaboration come to be? According to YUNGBLUD: “‘When we die (can we still get high?)’ was one of the first songs I wrote when I got to New Orleans to make new music. Me and Yachty have been talking since 2019 and I’ve always thought we were on the same trip – fuck the rules, push things forward. So, when I wrote the song I knew he’d add something amazing. I wanted this moment to be a collision of each other’s imagination and sound. I’m really excited about it and for what it could potentially inspire between the future of alternative and hip-hop. Press play.”

Coi Leray – Rap superstar Coi Leray is kicking off her new year with “Wanna Come Thru,” her new collaboration with super-producer Mike WiLL Made-It. Her first release on Island Records, the new single showcases another side of the GRAMMY-nominated artist. The sultry and self-assured slow jam adds a new dimension to Coi, who is best known for her party-starting anthems “Players” and “Baby Don’t Hurt Me.” What does “Wanna Come Thru” signify to Coi Leray? She explains: “This song is about me on my grown and sexy. Grown and sexy means being so in love with yourself — that it is one of the most sexiest, maturest, grownest things that a woman can do. As you get older and you tap into your womanhood and your femininity and I feel like you should embrace that. It’s feeling good for yourself; looking in the mirror and just loving yourself. 2024 is going to be my grown and sexy era. I’m taking over this year. I’ve got so much new music and a whole new side of me to get to know.”

José James – Jazz sensation José James wants to make you dance with his brand new single “Saturday Night (Need You Now).” The new single is the latest release from the crooner’s forthcoming album 1978, due out on April 5, 2024. As you’d expect from “Saturday Night (Need You Now)” and the album title, the upcoming project pays homage to the groovy vibes of the ’70s. The new song conjures up the vibe of Marvin Gaye, Prince, and Stevie Wonder. What inspired this retro-soaked new single? The self-proclaimed “jazz singer for the hip-hop generation” states: “Doing my tribute to Bill Withers inspired me. Singing his hits from the ’70s and ’80s like ‘Lovely Day’ and ‘Just the Two of Us’ made me want to dig deeper and try to write a song that could bring my own joy to people.”
