Today sees the release of Daymare: 1994 Sandcastle from Leonardo Interactive and Invader Studios, and if you’re into UFOs and conspiracy theories (the fun kind, not the political ones) then I think this is a game you should definitely check out.
The timing is very weird for me to have started playing Daymare: 1994 Sandcastle, and I’m currently reading Sekret Machines: Chasing Shadows, a fiction book that’s based in real life UFO lore. As it happens, this video games seems to be based in the same lore, and makes for a complimentary experience.

What I will tell you, from firsthand experience, is that the game has a definite Resident Evil-vibe in terms of gameplay and graphics. It’s easy to figure out the control scheme and you’ve got a unique go to weapon that makes this more than the usual third-person thriller. I’m playing on the Steam Deck, and thought Daymare: 1994 Sandcastle has yet to to be verified, I’m not finding any issues with gameplay at all.
