Who’s ready for fun? Ok, yes, that sounds a little cheesy, but with Toronto Comicon happening this weekend at Metro Toronto Convention Centre’s North Building from March 17-19, 2023, we’re pretty psyched here at Biff Bam Pop! central.
Biff Bam Pop!’s junior correspondant Anya is particularly excited because over the last few months they’ve become massive fans of the anime My Hero Academia, and they’ll be cosplaying alongside their oldest friend for the massive Cosplay Meetup at 3 pm on Friday. It’s all I’ve been hearing about the last week or so, and Anya has been working hard to put together their Shota Aizawa outfit.

As for me, I’m looking forward to hitting up Artist Alley and hopefully getting the chance to say hello to Jae Lee, who was responsible for so much of the gorgeous art work found in Stephen King’s The Dark Tower comic book series that was first published by Marvel. I’ve got one or two collections that would look cool with his signature, methinks.

As far as big Hollywood celebrities go, Toronto Comicon is stacked, including the cast of Amazon Prime’s The Boys, Andy Serkis of Lord of the Rings fame, DC Arrowverse stars like Robbie Amell, Danielle Panabaker, and Matt Ryan, and many more.
There’s lots more happening for three days at Toronto Comicon, of course. Here’s a rundown of some of the highlights. For ticket info, schedules and more, head over to the official Toronto Comicon website.
