It’s hard to believe we’re still getting new Mission: Impossible movies since Tom Cruise hurled the property onto the big screen in 1996. Unlike most franchises, Mission: Impossible seems to get better with each new entry. The trailer for the latest installment, Mission: Impossible — Dead Reckoning, Part One, brings back familiar faces (Cruise, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames) and thrilling situations that seem to involve actual danger. It’s hard to tell what the plot is, but hearing Henry Czerny, returning as Agent Kittridge, tell Tom Cruise that it’s “time to pick a side” is enough incentive for fans of the franchise to come back for more. Oh, and then there’s that shot of the train. Yowza.
