Trailer Time: ‘The New Mutants’ to Arrive in Theaters This April

At long last (two years!!), we’ve been given the treat of a new trailer for the long-delayed film The New Mutants from director Josh Boone.

The film, which sees release this April, was put on the shelf for numerous Hollywood reasons and unfortunately got caught in the Disney/Fox shuffle when the former was bought by the latter. However, in what’s got to be considered a show of faith, Disney is releasing The New Mutants in theatres in Boone’s original vision. The film takes inspiration from the classic Demon Bear storyline of the 1980s.

20th Century Fox in association with Marvel Entertainment presents “The New Mutants,” an original horror thriller set in an isolated hospital where a group of young mutants is being held for psychiatric monitoring. When strange occurrences begin to take place, both their new mutant abilities and their friendships will be tested as they battle to try and make it out alive.
