It’s just a little over a week before the Netflix debut of Marvel’s Luke Cage and now there’s a featurette!
The tone of this clip evokes the same gritty feel as its predecessors, Daredevil and Jessica Jones. Here you’ll get to see “that dude with the hoodie,” a.k.a. Luke Cage, trying to rid Harlem of the bad guys. As Simone Missick (who plays Misty Knight) remarks, there are no capes, “just whoopin’ ass.”
Fans of Rosario Dawson should be excited to see Claire Temple, but there are a host of new characters on the show, not the least of whom is big baddie Cornell “Cottonmouth” Stokes (Mahershala Ali).
The full 13-episode run premieres on Netflix on Friday, September 30!
