Described as director Nicolas Wending Refn’s (Drive, Only God Forgives) first horror film, The Neon Demon is not for the squeamish. In my review on Everything Is Scary, I explained how “The Neon Demon presents a world of ephemeral artifice that distracts everyone from the rotting corpse in the bedroom.”
If this makes you hungry for more, you’re in luck. The Neon Demon will be available on EST (Electronic Sell Through) on August 30, including iTunes and Google Play. The DVD and Blu-ray will hit shelves on September 27.
But that’s not all! We don’t want to make you wait, so we’re hosting a giveaway: the first five Canadians to respond to this post here or on our Facebook page will receive a code to download the movie on iTunes.
This contest is only available to Canadian residents.
Deadline is Thursday, September 8 at 12:00 p.m. EST.
