Trailer Time: Supergirl

The television season next year will be on fire with comic book superhero action, both with returning shows and new adventures on the horizon. One of the biggest will be on CBS from the producers of “Arrow” and “The Flash,” and that’s “Supergirl.” Meet me after the jump for our first look.

Wow. Neither what I expected nor what one thinks of first when they think of Supergirl. But either way, I think it does look good. What do you folks think?

  1. Calista Flockhart – it’s an Ally McBeal dream-come-true!

    James Olsen finally grows up.

The sister angle is interesting. She’s not out there all alone with no-one to talk to. I like that.

I wonder if there’ll be any crossovers with Arrow and Flash? … But hopefully not too much of a tie-in with any of her cousin’s movies. That could’a crashed Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D – how long ago was it? – only 1 1/2 seasons! How time flies when you’re having fun!

I’ll give it a go, for sure. 🙂

  2. Looking forward to see what they do with it. I like that she is strong and independent but also a little dorky. I also like that she doesn’t seem to be brooding but excited to have superpowers.

  3. Hmm not sure about that. I’ll wait for some reviews.
