Sometimes the coolest things can show up in your inbox. That’s what happened the other day when J. Tithonus Pednaud sent me a link to his Kickstarter campaign in support of his new book, After Life: True Tales of the Wandering Dead. It’s a book that tells of adventures that happen after death. Not the afterlife. But after life. Upon reading up even further, I was sold on what looks to be a seriously compelling, and dare I say, fun book about roaming bodies and much more.
Check out the trailer below and then read the press release for all the cool details about how you can support this lively…or deadly…project.
Did you know that the author of Frankenstein kept the heart of her dead husband wrapped in silk and stored in her desk? Would you believe that isn’t the strangest part of the story? http://kck.st/18Gm5KB
After Life: True Tales of the Wandering Dead is a thoughtful and well-researched compilation of very real post-mortem adventures. Not tales of adventure in the afterlife, rather tales of adventure that occurred after life.
Learn about bodysnatching, mummy commerce, the Portuguese concubine who was exhumed and made Queen, as well as the tale of the deceased Wild West outlaw who travelled America as a funhouse prop.
That is, of course, only a small selection of the tales that unfold.
