Mat Langford’s Gaming World – Grand Theft Auto Online reveal

GTAOnline

The GTA V Multiplayer was just revealed in a short video released by Rockstar this morning, and it’s looking like we have a winner on our hands.

Rockstar claims that its GTA Online is all about “having fun and getting into trouble”, and the trailer described exactly that.

According to Rockstar, “You can run around on your own, making friends and enemies, or band together and form a crew and tackle a heist, rob a liquor store, or compete in classic online modes. Complete any job and you’ll earn money and reputation that allows you to further customize your character, including their outfit, weapon of choice, and favorite vehicle.

As you make some real money, maybe you’ll buy an apartment so friends can stop by and hang out. Or buy a garage, fill it with custom vehicles, and then take them racing by land, air or sea, or simply cruise around, showing off. Everything you do helps you progress through the world, introducing you to new characters, mission, rewards and almost limitless opportunities.

Rockstar will be constantly developing more content for you to enjoy, but you’ll also be able to design your own races, and death matches using the content creator. Then you can share them with friends and the world or try ones other people have made. Grand Theft Auto online brings the freedom of the GTA experience to multiple players in a dynamic shard world. “

So it’s basically a huge open world, with limitless potential, user-created content that anyone can access and a virtually unlimited potential for mayhem and destruction with co-op missions. Round this out with extremely deep character customization, property and vehicle customization and ownership, as well as a leveling system based on not only mission completion but online bad-assery, this is shaping up to be potentially one of the most fun online multi-player experiences yet!

Stay tuned for more details as they arise, and let us know if you’re excited in the comments below!
