As the resident Spider-Man freak of Biff Bam Pop!, I don’t mind telling you that I haven’t been terribly excited about the forthcoming Amazing Spider-Man reboot that will hit screens in Summer 2012. Then JP sent around the trailer for the flick. Honestly, I was on the edge of my seat. The filmmakers are clearly taking a page from the Bendis/Bagley Ultimate Spider-Man series, which is fine by me. It’s a different, yet always familiar take on the classic character that doesn’t negate the previous films and their worth.
