We’re less than two weeks away from the release of Masters of the Universe, the first film of the summer 2026 season that I’m actually very much excited about. I grew up on MOTU, and while I can’t say I’m a huge fan by any stretch, there are a lot of cool concepts that could absolutely make for a solid big-screen adaptation if they get it right. That’s always a big if with a toy IP (looking at you, G.I. Joe), but I’m choosing optimism over pessimism.
