In this episode of Biff Bam Pop! Presents…Andy Burns talks to Geoff Downes of Yes about their recently released Fly From Here – Return Trip Super Deluxe Edition. They also discuss Downes’ history with the band, his 2011 return to Yes, and what to expect from both Yes and Asia in 2026.

Initially released in 2011, Fly From Here was the first Yes album in a decade and featured longtime members Steve Howe (guitars/vocals), Alan White (drums), and Chris Squire (bass/vocals), alongside new vocalist Benoit David and Geoff Downes, returning to the band for the first time since 1980’s Drama album and tour. Trevor Horn, who served as vocalist for Drama, would produce the album, which would be the first Yes album to reach the Billboard Top 40 since 1994’s Talk. Much of the material on Fly From Here was written by Horn and Downes.

In 2018, in time for the 50th anniversary of Yes, the band would release Fly From Here – Return Trip, now featuring Trevor Horn on lead vocals, thus creating a sequel to Drama. This version is now available as a Super Deluxe Edition on CD, double vinyl, and Blu-ray.
