That’s what’s up when it comes to the brand new Nintendo Switch game, Super Mario Party Jamboree!
Check out these stats on the latest instalment in the Mario Party franchise. Super Mario Party Jamboree is:

- The third game in the series on the Switch.
- A sequel to Mario Party Superstars.
If you’re a veteran of the series (and seeing as how the first game was released way back in 1998, you just might be) you’ll certainly be thrilled with Super Mario Party Jamboree. It’s got 22 characters from the world of Super Mario to choose from, mini-games galore, a board that you take your characters around (controlled either by the CPU or by that group of friends you’ve got gathered to play with), and lots more.
For longtime Nintendo fans, rolling the dice on Super Mario Party Jamboree isn’t a risk at all. You know what you’re getting, except there’s more to it. And when I say more, we’re talking about 110 mini-games, ranging from mini-golf to flying games, nearly all controlled with your disconnected Joy-cons, which is a great reminder of just how fun your Nintendo Switch can be when you’re playing untethered.
There’s also single player storyline that you can play through, but the key to all the Mario Party games is that ability to join with others to get an actual party going. While having that single player mode is fine, Super Mario Party Jamboree is really designed for that multiplayer experiences. It’s not called “party” for nothing, after all. If your more of a solitary gamer, someone who prefers a Nintendo experience like the Zelda games, you’ll probably want to pass on in this one. However, if you’re someone who likes playing games with the family or whose social and gaming worlds often intertwine, then Super Mario Party Jamboree is a no-brainer.
Super Mario Party Jamboree is now available, and with the holidays coming up, it’s going to make for a fun way to pass the time.
