In The Game: Discover ‘The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom’

Hello everyone, it’s me, Anya! It’s been a crazy few weeks for me! I started high school, which has kept me really busy. And I started learning how to play bass guitar (I’m using one of my Dad’s old basses) and so far I’ve learned music from the move Scott Pilgrim vs The World! When I haven’t been at school or doing homework or playing the bass, I have been playing video games!

Today I’m here to tell you about Nintendo’s new game in the Zelda franchise, The Legend of Zelda: Echos of Wisdom.

Here is what happens in The Legends of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom – While trying to save Zelda, our hero Link (you know him!) is sucked into a rift. When Zelda returns to her kingdom, her father believes that she was causing the rifts that keep appearing in the Kingdom and has her arrested. When she meets a new friend and escapes the jail, she sets off to go find Link again.

As the titular character of the franchise, the one and only Zelda is often mistaken for Link, but not anymore! In The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, you play as the princess herself. This is a big deal for Zelda fans like me, as it’s something we’ve wanted for a while. Think of all those fans who played The Legend of Zelda on their NES back when my Dad was a kid. They’ve been waiting almost 40 years!!!!!!

The controls for the game are pretty easy, and the game features the same adorable art style that 2019’s Links Awakening had (I liked that game too!) Combined with an engaging story, and finally being able to play as Zelda, The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom is a game I’d definitely recommend for any fan of Zelda, or even someone who wants to get into it.

Thanks for reading! I’m going to go play some more on my Switch…and then do a bass solo!

The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom is available now.
