This single follows their hit “Happiness,” which is making major waves on the Americana and AAA Radio Charts. Known for their breakout EP Life and Life Only and magnetic performances on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and The Late Show, the band has always been winning fans over on the always important festival circuit. You’ll be converted after just one listen to their gritty, groove-heavy rock with British roots.

“We wanted the audience to feel very cool when putting this one on,” The Heavy Heavy shared. “There is a touch of psychedelia in the middle section underneath the dreamy lyrics, echoing those in the first verse. It’s heady and hazy, and we love playing it live.”

Sebastian Gaskin – Toronto-based, Tataskweyak Cree Nation-raised singer-songwriter Sebastian Gaskin is out now with his new single “Cherie Amour,” via Universal Music Canada and Ishkōdé Records. This track marks his second release of the year, following the chart-topping “Ghost,” which went all the way to #1 on CBC Music’s Top 20 and landed at #4 on IndigenousTV’s Top 50 Songs of 2024. “Cherie Amour” is a self-penned and co-produced gem that flexes Gaskin’s multi-instrumentalism as he plays bass, guitar, and keyboard. Recently honoured with a star blanket and a billboard in his home community, Gaskin’s return was a heartwarming celebration of his roots and rising success. The Cree musician continues to prove why he’s one of Canada’s most promising rising stars in the music scene.

About the new single, Sebastian says, “’Cherie Amour’ was written as a Valentine’s Day gift. A VHS summer-time bop about being enthralled with that special someone.”

Blossoms – If they aren’t already, Blossoms need to be on your radar. The rockers hailing from Stockport, Greater Manchester have just released their new single “Perfect Me.” The jaunty indie rock track is accompanied by a stunning video directed by James Slater, known for his work with Sam Fender and Jamie T. This track follows the band’s recent hits “Gary” and “What Can I Say After I’m Sorry?,” which have both racked up a ton of streams and radio play in the UK. Produced by James Skelly of The Coral and Jungle’s Josh-Lloyd Watson, the upcoming album features collaborations with buzzworthy Irish singer-songwriter CMAT.

Speaking about “Perfect Me,” Blossoms’ frontman Tom Ogden says: “Perfect Me wasn’t done in the normal way we make songs. Normally I write the song at home and then bring it to the lads. We just made this one from nothing. We had a synth sequence and built it up from scratch in the studio. The spontaneity of it resulted in it having a lot of energy. It’s about this perfect being that doesn’t exist.”
