The folks over at Storm King Comics are putting out some stellar comic books; no surprise, knowing that the creative forces behind the publisher are Sandy King and John Carpenter.
Their latest, upcoming book is titled The Killing Hole, written by renowned horror scribe Steve Niles and illustrated by Trevor Dunham. The Killing Hole, conceived by Niles 30-some years ago, is about the story of two small town high school outcasts who develop a friendship with one another, one that leads to dark consequences.

I had the chance to read The Killing Hole, and it was legitimately one of those “can’t put down” stories. Niles always strong writing perfectly meshes with Dunham’s evocative artwork. Even if you think you know where the story might be going, The Killing Hole delivers twists and turns that are unpredictable.
You can check out preview pages, along with a trailer for The Killing Hole below, featuring music composed by John Carpenter, Cody Carpenter and Daniel Davies from their album Lost Themes III: Alive After Death.
The book arrives in shops July 10.
