Prepare to head back into the deserts of Tatooine with Disney+ as everyone’s favorite Jedi, Obi-Wan Kenobi, gets his own show.
Played by my current wife’s future husband Ewan McGregor, the latest Star Wars limited series finds Kenobi on the run from the grimy grasp of the Galactic Empire and what appear to be a number of bounty hunters. Hardcore fans may recognize some of the characters in the trailer. I know I saw some Stormtroopers and at least one Bantha. Disney+ has gotten plaudits for most of its expansion of the Star Wars Universe. The draw of McGregor and viewer curiosity about one of the lore’s major characters may prove to be a huge draw.
