P**syapocalypse: The Twisted Twins’ Kickstarter Burlesque Party and Fundraiser in Vancouver

PastedGraphic-6In my previous chat with Jen & Sylvia Soska (right here, as a matter of fact), you might have noticed there was mention of a party. A fundraiser, in fact, for the girls’ collaboration with Daniel Way, KILL-CRAZY NYMPHOS ATTACK.

That party is only two days away now and, if you happen to be in Vancouver around this time, you might want to set aside a little time and a little green for what’s guaranteed to be the wildest night of philanthropy for the arts that The West Coast has seen in many a moon.

PUSSYAPOCALYPSE: The Twisted Twins’ Kickstarter Burlesque Party and Fundraiser is happening at Vancouver’s The Rio Theatre on Thursday, April 30. Hosted by the dynamic duo themselves, the night’s festivities will include performances by burlesque superstar and homegrown scream queen Tristan Risk ( AMERICAN MARY, THE EDITOR ), magician and snake handler Burns The Dragon, comedian Jesse Inocalla, and other performers taking the stage in a night of raunchy, bawdy good fun? (Did I mention this is to support the arts? Does that ease your troubled conscience? Yeah, thought so. You’re welcome)

Jen and Sylvia will also be joined by KCNA co-creators, writer Daniel Way (DEADPOOL, THUNDERBOLTS) and artist Rob Dumo (THE GUTTERS, the upcoming ECCENTRIX) among others. In addition to Jen and Sylvia being available for special photos with performing cosplayers and fans, Dumo will be on hand drawing LIMITED EDITION KCNA! posters where you can appear as either a Kill-Crazy Nympho or as a male victim of The Soskas’ KCNA alter-egos,The Sister Sisters.

Add in giveaways, drink specials, massive SWAG packages for raffles, cosplay competitions and more, and you’ve got yourself a night to remember.

That’s this Thursday, with doors opening at  7:00 pm, showtime at 8:00 pm. Tickets are $20.00 in advance (available here), $25.00 at the door and $100.00 for the gold-standard Advance VIP treatment! This event is strictly 19+ w/ ID for bar service… as if that wasn’t obvious, already.
