It’s San Diego Comic Con time and Biff Bam Pop is there!
Yesteday was industry/professional/preview night but I can tell you, it didn’t feel like previews at all. The floor was packed to the gills, made for some definite discomfort walking around, especially if you’ve got a giant Batman and Robin bag strapped to your back.
The main area of congestion was the various booths with show exclusives. People lined up for long waits (including myself) to get their hands on various items (my wife will be happy to know I’m adding another Galactus to our family).
I was able to finally meet up a lot of our friends and supporters from the industry, including the folks at IDW, Dark Horse snd TwoMorrows Publishing. It was definitely nice to put fasces to names.
Our evening ended with dinner at The Tin Fish, with BBP’s Jason Shayer, JP Fallavollita and myself finally meeting face to face our Queen of Comics, Emily McGuiness. Nice lady, that one.
Today will be panels, panels and maybe a little bit more floor walking, but I must say, I don’t know if I’m brave enough to brave the crowds. We shall see.
