The latest trailer for Matthew Vaughn’s X-Men: First Class, due in theatres June 3rd, has hit the web and colour me impressed. This is a bit of an about face for me, since the original teaser from a few months ago left me underwhelmed. However, this new one, running more than two minutes, gives a stronger sense of the film and the story, though I would like to have seen a little more of Kevin Bacon’s Sebastien Shaw and January Jones’ Emma Frost – saving that for the big screen, I’m guessing. Regardless, I’ve been left feeling hopeful that X-Men: First Class will be stronger than I originally thought.
