I’m in a funk Y’all.
I’m experiencing the collector’s equivalent of Seasonal Affective Disorder. As someone who gets his primary source of dopamine via toy purchases, empty pegs have left me jonesing for a fix. The product that is currently on store shelves has been there since before the holiday. Usually, this would be the time of year when I’d get a bunch of good discounts, but for some reason, stores in my area have been dragging their feet about moving items to clearance. I’ve found myself stuck in a repetitive loop of scrolling through the Amazon, Walmart and Target apps waiting for price drops that never happen. I just want to buy some new toys or get some good deals. Is that too much to ask?
Ok. Complaint over. Let’s see what we have to look forward to when brighter days arrive.

Super Grover
I’m blessed to have a Palisades Super Grover from 20 years ago. It was a convention exclusive that came with Grover’s reporter hat and trench coat, as well as a phone booth. It’s truly everything you could ask for in a Super Grover figure. I suppose NECA could still give us a San Diego Comic-Con Super Grover, but my chances of scoring that without having to pay secondary market prices would be nearly impossible. I’ll gladly take this one for the time being.

I was ecstatic when I saw the Stan Sikai-inspired Turtles. I hoped that might mean I’d get another shot at a Usagi Yojimbo in his traditional outfit, but instead it’s another Samurai version. If I find him alongside the four turtles, he’ll be tough to pass up…
