As someone who grew up on pro wrestling, I knew how the sausage was made was a big secret. Though it became common knowledge towards the end of the 1990s that creative teams were involved in bringing the stories of our favourite heels and babyfaces to life, the inner workings of how it all went down were never witnessed by the public. That is, until WWE Unreal on Netflix drew back the curtain in 2025, revealing how big events such as the Elimination Chamber and WrestleMania 41 came together.

WWE Unreal was a success by all accounts, making a second season inevitable. This time out, the series focuses on the road to SummerSlam, WWE’s second-biggest show of the year.
The new season of WWE Unreal premieres January 20 on Netflix.
