Holiday Gift Guide 2025 Presents Figure Friday’s Last Minute Gift Ideas

Don’t look now, but we’re less than a week away from Christmas! If you’re still scrambling to find gifts, it’s officially crunch time. So if you forgot to grab something for the office Christmas Party or your family’s White Elephant, Figure Friday has you covered. These are some solid options that should still be available on store shelves leading up to the big day.

Packaging of Hasbro's Epic World of Action Fantastic Four Marvel's First Family Collection featuring various action figures including Mr. Fantastic, Invisible Woman, Human Torch, The Thing, and Franklin.

Epic World of Action Fantastic Four Marvel’s First Family Collection

Hasbro’s Epic World of Action is a line of four-inch scale toys that features characters and vehicles from both Marvel and Star Wars. They’re not as articulated as Marvel Legends or Star Wars Black Series (most figures feature only 9 points of articulation). They’re also not as pricey. For the cost of one Deluxe 6-inch figure, you can get the entirety of Marvel’s First Family.

These figures look Fantastic for what most collectors would consider a “budget friendly” line. They may not have as many paint apps as their larger counterparts, but if someone wanted to take the time to apply a wash or two, there’s a really nice sculpt on The Ever Lovin’ Blue Eyed Thing.

Box packaging for the Fantastic Four's Fantasticar toy, featuring a blue car and a figure of Marvel's The Thing.

You can also get the Fantasticar in the Epic World of Action line, which, along with the figures, scales well with the HasLab Galactus. Biff Bam Pop! EIC Andy Burns recently sent me pictures of his own HasLab Galactus doing battle with his Epic World of Action collection, and I immediately added them to my wishlist.

Jada Toys Street Fighter

Jada’s Street Fighter line has become more accessible over the last year or so. While the larger-scale figures tend to disappear quickly, most of the 6-inch fighters that have been released are widely available at retail.

I’ve been singing the praises of this line for years. If you’ve got a gamer in the office, chances are good they’d love one of these from their Secret Santa. Whether they display it on their desk or use it as a distraction during those boring conference calls, they’ll take one of these over another coffee mug or Funko Pop. Trust me.

Jada Toys Hollywood Rides

While I usually sing the praises of Jada Toys’ action figures, they built their business on scale replica cars. Their Hollywood Rides line comes in various scales, so if space is a premium for the collector on your list, there’s more than likely an option to meet their needs. Their licenses are aplenty, from Jujutsu Kaisen to Smokey Bear; chances are you’ll find something in the wheelhouse of most folks on your gift list.

You can never go wrong giving someone an iconic ride from a movie or tv show they love. We all have that Dream garage in our heads filled with all of our favorite versions of the Batmobile and K.I.T.T. and Optimus Prime, the Hollywood Rides line makes that a reality, albeit in toy format.

I’ve amassed a small collection of these over the years, and I must warn you: it’s a slippery slope. I live in this perfect Venn Diagram of fandom and being connected to the automotive industry, which makes me easily susceptible to impulse purchases of VW Buses themed to multiple Disney franchises. It’s bad, Y’all!

Thanks for following along with Figure Friday this year. We appreciate your support. Our best to you and yours this holiday season.
