As we know, a new Pokémon game has finally been released. It’s called Pokémon Legends: Z-A. I’ve been waiting for this game for so long, and I was not disappointed.
Here’s the logline: Whether you’re a die-hard Pokémon fan or about to toss your first Poké Ball, the Pokémon Legends: Z-A – Nintendo Switch 2 game has plenty to offer for Trainers of all types. Experience classic gameplay with modern twists that are sure to revolutionize your Pokémon RPG experience.
Step onto the battlefield and command your Pokémon directly—there are no turns! For the first time in the Pokémon RPG series, Trainers and their Pokémon can both move around in real-time battles, and your Pokémon will unleash their moves when you tell them to. Strategically swapping out your Pokémon and accounting for each move’s timing and area of effect will greatly help you in this new style of battle.
Now, opinions on Pokémon Legends: Z-A have been split, but I think it is one of the most enjoyable recent Pokémon games added to the franchise.
Pokémon Legends: Z-A is an enjoyable, semi-open world experience with more character customization than ever before. With mega evolutions making their return, there’s even more for you to do and enjoy. I’ve had so much fun recently playing with friends, increasing my rank in the ZA Royale, and interacting with the interesting cast of new characters.
Pokémon Legends: Z-A differs from previous games with the new open-world battle system and the new ways of catching Pokémon. I personally think newcomers can enjoy it, as it doesn’t require much previous knowledge of the series.
Whether you’re a long-time fan or new to the world of Pokémon, if you’ve got a Nintendo Switch 2, you can’t go wrong picking up Pokémon Legends: Z-A for it.
