If you haven’t heard, though I’m pretty sure you have, Wicked: Part One is one of the biggest hits of not just the holiday season, but the year as well. The film, starring Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo and directed by Jon Chu, is based on the original book by Gregory Maguire and the hit Broadway musical. It’s already grossed $361 million in North America alone, making it the most successful film based on a Broadway show. More importantly, our own Marie Gilbert loved the movie.
