The latest offering from Four Horsemen Studios Mythic Legions line is Ashes of Agbendor. This wave features angels (both living and undead), knights, goblins, wizards, ogres and centaurs. It’s a potpourri of bad assery and I’m here for it! Here’s a rundown of everything that’s available in this wave.
I’ve missed out on the Valiant Knight the last few times he’s been available online. Fortunately, my first figure on the updated body will be a deluxe offering with an entire armory to kit out a multitude of different looks. I’m leaning towards the feather plumed helmet or the golden winged bucket. Maybe I need two?

There are few stories from the First Great War as heroic, or as tragic, as that of the Blue Shield. Sworn to Leodysseus, the Blue Shield was tasked with guarding the army’s rear. Besieged by a horde of goblins, these knights knew they could not keep the flood of evil warriors at bay for long. The Blue Shield decided to destroy the tunnels from where their enemies were coming, a plan that would also trap them in the collapse. The knights knew this would be their final act, yet none hesitated in their duty. The tunnels were destroyed, ending the threat of the goblin army in a selfless act of sacrifice that is still honored in Leandorr today.

Yes, this figure WILL come with the increased range of motion seen on the Valiant Knight, and this set is PACKED with parts so you can create your perfect heroic warrior! In fact, the knights of the “Blue Shield” are about as heroic as they come, as you will read in the bio for those noble members of the Army of Leodysseus from the First Age of Mythoss.
This deluxe set includes: 1 base body with 5 heads, 2 sets of helmet attachments, 2 torsos plus a removable soft goods tunic and skirt, 4 sets of waist armor and 4 loin pieces, 3 sets of shoulder pauldrons, 2 pieces of neck armor, 3 sets of hands, 2 swords and one sheath, dagger and scabbard, spear, axe, shield, and 2 belts! This is our most stacked figure to date and a worthy successor to that original knight set.
I love army building packs like this. I have to imagine there’s a Gamorrean Guard fan out there ready to grab a case or two of these to amass a grand army of pig faced goblins.

One of the most enduring stories of the First Great War is the sacrifice of the Blue Shield and their defeat of the goblin army. What few realize about this story, however, is that the goblins who were trapped under the Grayvein Mountains did not die when the tunnels collapsed. Able to see in even the darkest depths, the goblins crawled out from under the rubble and made their way deeper under the mountain. Here they found the vast cavern that would become the city of Gobhollow. Allowed to fester in the darkness, this malignancy would grow for ages until the goblins rose once again to answer the call of Arethyr and fight in his fiery Legion.

Similar to the dwarven set we revealed last year, this new 2-pack comes loaded with parts to build out your army from under the Grayvein Mountains – only this time you are getting goblin warriors to invade the Realm of Mythoss!
This set includes 2 base bodies – one in the “1.0” style and the other in the “2.0” build. You also get 4 heads – 2 of which are brand new to this set (pig-faced soldier and the long-nosed head in the hood). Each figure comes with 2 sets of arms, both armored and unarmored – and the 2.0 build actually includes brand new “bare goblin” upper arms and upper legs that are also debuting in this set! Add in 6 sets of hands, 3 kinds of waist armor and loin pieces, 2 sets of pauldrons, 2 swords, a knife, an axe, a shield, 3 sets of feet, multiple belts, a wired soft goods cloak, and extra neck pegs to more easily mix and match heads in this set (and with other goblins) and you have yourself a set that is sure to prove a threat to the heroic armies from the First Age of the Realm!
I’m a sucker for a good winged hero and Iosef looks incredible. The white armor with the purple and gold trim is stunning. It really works well on the Spartan helmet. Trevor Williams absolutely killed it with the figure photography for this guy as well.

A hero from the First Age of Mythoss, Iosef of the Golden Spear led a battalion of angelic warriors from the celestial city of Cirrus to fight in the First Great War. Tragically, their mission was a doomed one, and only Iosef survived an encounter with Maxillius the Harvester. The angels fought valiantly, but they were each cut down by the Harvester and raised from death by the unholy magic of Necronominus. Still, Iosef did not surrender, and he proved instrumental to the victory of the First Great War. Returning to Cirrus alone, it would be ages before another of his kind would leave the angelic city to fight in the battles of Mythoss.

Iosef of the Golden Spear includes our “new” knight body as seen on the Valiant Knight and the upcoming figures in the Necronominus and All Stars 6 waves. That means this figure has the increased range of motion needed to strike the most heroic battle poses!
This deluxe figure comes with 2 heads – including one with a pair of flip up visors and also one of our popular “Mercurian” helmets. The figure also has 5 sets of hands, a large sword, shield, and a spear with a removable magic effect. Of course, he also comes with a pair of large feathered wings for his angelic appearance, as well as wired soft goods sash.
The skies of Mythos are about to be filled with an undead angel army. The gold armor with the purple accents are complimented perfectly by the decaying green wings. This is a heavy metal album cover in figure form and I can’t wait to get it on my shelf.

Casualties of the First Great War, these defeated angelic warriors of Cirrus were cut down by Maxillius the Harvester and then resurrected by the magic of Necronominus. These undead angels became some of Necronominus’ most powerful followers and they were banished with him when the Dark Four were defeated by the Great Beasts. Immediately distinguishable by their golden bones, these fallen angels still possess their feathered wings as a cruel mockery of the celestial beings they once were.

Gold Skeleton 2 includes parts to create an updated version of the first release – including our new skeletal limbs with an increased range of motion! By mixing out the head, hands, and feet and adding the included wings you can transform this golden skeleton into the Undead of Cirrus!
This deluxe figure comes with 2 heads – both unhelmeted and helmeted, plus 2 different visors for that helmet. You also get 5 sets of hands, 2 sets of feet, shoulder pauldrons, 2 belts, a spear, sword, and a shield plus a wired soft goods sash.
I haven’t picked up an Ogre sized figure in the Mythic Legions line, so this will be my first. There’s something about the beard and the Viking horned helmet that speaks to me. I could see him as a stand in for a Frost Giant for Thor or Kratos to battle. Patience pays off!

Savage brutes who dwell in the harsh colds on the borders of the White Spine, Frost Ogres are often enlisted by Illythia’s Brood to act as guardians of the vampire’s fortress, the Bloodless Throne. Hiding amidst the snow and ice, Frost Ogres will ambush any travelers who are foolish enough to venture into their lands, dragging them back to their icy lairs to an end too terrible to contemplate.

This ogre-scale figure includes soft goods furs plus 2 different head options (one with 2 sets of helmet attachments and the other with a removable helmet), shoulder pauldrons, 2 chest belts, 2 sets of bracers, 2 sets of hands, and large orge weapon with both axe and mace attachments.
As a longtime fan of Skyrim, my race of preference when playing has always been Khajiit, so K’ai Pacha is an instant buy for me. If you’re not a fan of the feline look, you get an orc head or shadow elf head as alternatives.

A Jaguallian thief who has had more than one stay in the cells of Castle Silverhorn, K’ai Pacha proved to be an unlikely hero in the Second Great War. Part of a team that ventured into the colds of the White Spine to rescue Queen Artemyss Silverchord, the entire party was captured by a band of Frost Ogres. The Jaguallian was the only one to escape, and he was forced to continue on alone towards his most daring heist ever – sneaking past the defenses of the Bloodless Throne and making off with the Queen of Xylernia. Leaving Artemyss in the care of the Whisperlings, K’ai Pacha returned to the White Spine. If his team was still alive, he was determined to free them.
From Four Horsemen Studios on Instagram
This Jaguallian rogue comes with a number of items to carry out his heists, including 4 daggers, 2 short swords, clip-on pouches, and a ring of keys! He also comes with 4 sets of hands, a removable tail, 2 belts, shoulder armor, a wired soft goods cloak and a total of 3 heads! These heads allow you to change up this figure and display either K’ai Pacha the Jaguallian or two members of his heist crew, including a Shadow Elf and an Orc! No treasure is safe with this crew on the job!
Centaurs look great on your shelf. Their size catches your eye from across the room. This Shadow version comes with multiple heads, so if you have the real estate you can get a stable full of Shadow Centaurs.

While Centaurs are somewhat common amongst the species of Mythoss, their Shadow cousins have long been nothing more than a horrific memory from the First Age of the Realm. As Poxxus returns to Mythoss, he opens the Nethergate and allows a stampede of these nightmares to terrorize Mythoss once again. As the deadliest hunters in the Circle, Poxxus sends his Shadow Centaurs to seek out and slay the leaders of the Convocation. Breaking into the Tower of Bassylia, the Shadow Centaurs hunt their prey, but a familiar-looking Necromancer, and the spirits of the scholars who once defended those halls of learning, stand resolutely in their way.

This is our second Centaur figure in Mythic Legions, but this new “shadow” version is a majorly evil update on this race! This figure includes a brand-new head debuting on this figure (plus a second head to create additional Shadow Centaur hunters), new centaur armor and soft goods, along with removable armor pieces, a spear, sword, long bow, quiver, arrow, and shield.
Here’s the figure that everyone will pass up but inevitably grab once these start popping up in figure photography. It’s worth repeating: Trevor Williams killed it on the pictures for this wave.

One of the oldest living warriors in Mythoss, Azza Spiritbender’s true nature was revealed during Poxxus’ attack on the Tower of Bassylia. As the nightmares poured forth from the Nethergate, they recognized a Shaeyde necromancer amongst their hated enemies, for Azza was actually one of the beings summoned to Mythoss by Poxxus during the First Age of the Realm.
Azza somehow escaped the banishment spells that doomed Poxxus and his army in the First Great War. Finding herself orphaned in Mythoss, she presented herself to the original head of the Convocation and asked for help breaking free from the influence of Poxxus. Complex spells of banishment were tattooed onto Azza’s skin, allowing her to gain her freedom from the diseased member of the Dark Four. From that day forward, Azza Spiritbender swore her loyalty to the Convocation of Bassylia.
Confronted by the otherworldly horrors of her past life as they attacked Ophidionn, Azza stood firm and fought to protect Mythoss. As the Tower fell and the great Library of Agbendor burned, Azza called upon the spirits of the many witches and wizards who had once roamed those halls of learning, but had since passed on. Asking them to defend Ophidionn one more time, the ghosts of these magically powerful beings rose against Poxxus’ army, chasing them away and preventing the complete destruction of the Convocation of Bassylia.

AZZA SPIRITBENDER 2 – another update on one of our popular (but until now somewhat obscure) older characters, Azza Spiritbender 2 adds a new version of this mysterious Necromancer while also revealing some surprising secrets of her past as one of the most ancient warriors in the Realm of Mythoss and one of the heroes of the Second Great War!
Azza Spiritbender 2 comes with 2 heads (hooded and unhooded), 3 sets of hands, a spellbook on a chain, khopesh sword, dagger and scabbard, magic staff and 3 spell effects. Of course, Azza also comes with seriously upgraded premium soft goods that are fully wired for posing and display!
I don’t need a translucent old wizard. I don’t need a translucent old wizard. I don’t need a translucent old wizard.
But…
God damn, Xue looks cool translucent and I kinda want him!

A member of The Learned, Xue was once a master at the Great Library of Agbendor. When the Circle of Poxxus attacked the Tower of Bassylia and burned the library to the ground, Xue was one of the scholars who risked his life trying to protect the knowledge contained in that ancient collection. Having survived Poxxus’ attack and the subsequent battles of the Second Great War, Xue was named the library’s new Master of Records. Returning to Ophidionn to help rebuild the library, he combs through the ashes of Agbendor searching for tales of the past while also beginning to record the stories of this modern age of the Realm of Mythoss.
From Four Horsemen Studios on Instagram
XUE – the Master of Records for the Library of Agbendor (or at least what remains of it), Xue is the “old wizard” at the center of the story for this new Mythic Legions wave. In the aftermath of the Second Great War of Mythoss, he combs through the remains of Ophidionn’s once great library hoping to salvage the knowledge and stories once contained there while also recording tales of heroism and sacrifice from the latest battles to save the Realm.
Xue includes a brand-new head making its debut on this figure. This figure actually comes with 2 versions of this head – a normal one and the “spectral magic” version in translucent plastic! Xue also includes 5 sets of hands (2 of which go with the “spectral” head), 3 spellbooks on a chain, 2 scrolls, pouches, satchel, dagger with scabbard, shoulder armor, magic staff, and multi-layered premium wired soft goods.
Mythic Legions Ashes of Agbendor, still has a little over a week before it closes preorders on June 30, 2024.
