Trailer Time – Daredevil on Netflix

Everyone is usually talking about the Marvel movies and the television, about Avengers: Age of Ultron or “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,” but really those aren’t your only options. The next phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is taking place somewhere else, Netflix, starting with “Daredevil” on April 10th. Meet me after the jump for the awesome trailer!

“Daredevil” is only the first of four Netflix series – “AKA Jessica Jones,” “Iron Fist,” and “Luke Cage” – that lead into the “Defenders” series. Yeah, baby, this is a good time to be a Marvel fan.

“Marvel’s Daredevil” stars Charlie Cox from “Boardwalk Empire” in the title role, along with Deborah Ann Woll from “True Blood” as Karen Page, Scott Glenn as Stick, Rosario Dawson as Night Nurse, and Vincent D’Onofrio as the Kingpin. Best of all however is that Steven S. DeKnight, the genius behind Starz’ “Spartacus” is the showrunner. This series has great potential, and is based loosely on Frank Miller’s The Man Without Fear. I cannot wait!

What do you folks think?

  1. Why you think you will like this? Because it is loosely based on Frank Miller’s rendition or because Frank Miller will have nothing to do with this?

    1. It’s all about DeKnight, my friend, and that Miller has nothing to do with it. 😉

      Seriously, have you seen Spartacus?

      1. No. I can barely keep up with “Regular” TV. I guess I will have to add it to my “to do” list. Sigh!

  2. I have a feeling this will be great too. Hope it really sets the bar for the proposed Defenders project Marvel is attempting!
