PlayStation Classic Hits Shelves in December With Some Prime Games

The dream of the ’90s is alive at Sony and to prove it, the company is releasing PlayStation Classic, a smaller version of their original game console. The system comes pre-loaded with 20 of the most popular PS1 games, although only five of the titles have been announced. It appears as though they are aiming for the “something for everyone” approach, though, with Final Fantasy VII and Tekken 3 confirmed for release. The mini-console comes with two controllers and a virtual memory card for saving game progress, but it does not come with an AC adaptor. Go figure.

The PlayStation Classic will be released just in time for the holidays on December 3, and customers can pre-order the system now. Hopefully, a full list of games will be available soon.  We’re hoping for Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater. What was your favorite original PlayStation game?
