Today, Betty White turns 90 years young. With her recent pop culture prevelence, her SNL guest host gig and her role on Hot In Cleveland, the lady reminds me of the wonderful George Burns, who was always a part of my life growing up. Tweens and teens may not have been born during the Golden Girls initial run, and they certainly weren’t around when Betty was working her magic with Mary Tyler Moore, but thanks to the web and the masses warm embrace, Betty White is going to be remembered by multiple generations.
Happy Birthday, Betty! I hope they’re doing something fun in Saint Olaf today.
