Non-Stop vs Son Of God – Biff Bam Pop’s Box Office Predictions

The Son of God versus Liam Neeson – who comes out on top this weekend at the box office? Here’s our prediction.

Audiences love them so Liam Neeson action movies, and Non-Stop looks to be another in his increasing list of kick-ass number ones. Non-Stop take place on an airplane, which should ratchet up the tension a few notches. Look for a first place debut with $30 million.

Also opening this weekend is Son of God, a story of Jesus, as produced by Mark Burnett. The film should find a strong audience with the devoted, thought I’m doubtful we’ll be seeing Passion Of The Christ numbers. Look for a third place showing with $21 million.

As for the rest of the top five, The LEGO Movie will grab second place with $23 million. Robocop will hit fourth place with $7 million, while 3 Days To Kill will close things out in fifth with $5 million.
