Trailer Time: Godzilla (Extended Look)

May 16^th can’t come soon enough.

It’s a huge date on the 2014 calendar. An enormous date. A monstrous date, some might say, circled, underlined many times and even highlighted. I’ve got arrows scribbled down in my hardcopy agenda pointing to it.

And why?

Don’t play coy! As if you don’t know!

May 16, 2014 is the date that Godzilla gets released in every-imaginable-theatre-around-the-world. Follow me after the jump for the latest jaw-dropping footage!

Directed by British filmmaker, Gareth Edwards, Godzilla stars a who’s who of wonderful actors including Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad, Argo), Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Kick-Ass, Avengers: Age of Ultron), Ken Watanabe (The Last Samurai, Inception), Elizabeth Olsen (Martha Marcy May Marlene, Avengers: Age of Ultron) and Juliette Binoche (The English Patient, Cosmopolis) among others.

Biff Bam Pop! has been showcasing the Godzilla trailers as they’ve been made public. More recently, Legendary Pictures and Warner Brothers Pictures have been quickly unloading the hype over the past few weeks, releasing TV spot after TV spot, detailing characters, themes and plot points.
