Are you watching Happy Endings? You should be. The comedic acting on this show is better than anything else on TV right now. The writing and all of the pop culture references are absolute perfection, but the best part of the show is the continuity and on-going schticks (Dave’s v-necks, Alex’s eating problem, “A-mah-zing”, “Bitch, it’s 5:30!”). For those of you who don’t watch the show, the season finale is next week so you have lots of time to catch up on Season One & Two before Season Three starts. For those of you who do watch the show and want some scoop on next week’s finale, keep reading…
EW.com spoke to Adam Pally who plays Max on the series and told them that the finale will revolve around a wedding. Derrick (Stephen Guarino) is marrying his boyfriend Eric (Nate Smith), and convinces Max to reunite with their all-male Madonna cover band at the reception. The name of this cover band? MANDONNA! Max will lead a rendition of “Like A Prayer” sporting “fingerless gloves, a long cross earring, some blond highlights, and, of course, a pretty gnarly mole,” according to Pally. Elsewhere in the episode, Penny (Casey Wilson) is seated at “the Skype table,” which is reserved for guests who can’t attend the wedding, and she winds up video-flirting with guest star Brian Austin Green, who plays a guy recovering from a ski-boxing accident. The article also mentions that the romantic triangle involving Penny, Dave (Zachary Knighton), and Alex (Elisha Cuthbert) will be squarely addressed.
Babe Alert! Even if you don’t watch and/or hate Glee, you need to watch this behind the scenes video for the April 10th episode “Big Brother“. The uber charismatic and gorgeous Matt Bomer (White Collar) guest starts as Cooper, Blaine’s (Darren Criss) older brother and yes he is going to be singing and dancing. Matt and Darrin will tackle a duet of Gotye’s “Somebody That I Used To Know”. Try to watch this video without getting a giant a perma-smile on your face. Or is it just me??
It’s been a long time coming, but this Friday’s episode of Nikita is finally going there. The episode titled “Power” pits Amanda (Melinda Clarke) vs Nikita (Maggie Q) in a huge badass brawl. Check out the video below for a first look at the girls going at it. Of course it also comes with a shocking (and possibly deadly?) ending.
