One of my all-time favourite films is Rosemary’s Baby. It’s the perfect thriller in my mind and not once did I ever wonder what happened in the Bramford before Rosemary (Mia Farrow) and Guy (John Cassavetes) moved in. That doesn’t mean I won’t watch Apartment 7A, though.
While I’m not sure if the trailer is selling me on a Rosemary’s Baby prequel, I do think that based on what we’re seeing, Dianne Wiest may just nail the role of Minnie Castevet, previously played by Ruth Gordon, who won the Best Supporting Actress Oscar for her work. No pressure, Dianne.
