A titan of music returns as Sir Paul McCartney headlines another stacked instalment of What’s Going On. From soaring pop to country anthems and genre-bending indie gems, there’s no shortage of tunes to soundtrack your week.

Paul McCartney – At nearly 84, Paul McCartney can’t stand still. Macca is back with The Boys of Dungeon Lane, his first solo studio album in more than five years. The new collection of tracks revisits his time in post-war Liverpool, family roots, and the friendships that would eventually change music forever. Co-produced by Andrew Watt, who is rapidly becoming the producer of choice for aging rock legends, the album finds McCartney candid and still uncovering new stories.
