Nick Hexum – Nick Hexum, lead vocalist and guitarist for 311, is branching out with a new tech platform, SKP and a deeply personal new EP, Waxing Nostalgic. Recorded at his own studio, the project puts Hexum’s introspective songwriting front and center. Songs like “Cosmic Connection” and “1978” mine childhood memories, while “Lonely Existence” sees Hexum unpacking addiction. Raw and vulnerable, Waxing Nostalgic marks a new chapter in Hexum’s creative journey.

Nona Invie – The name Nona Invie may not be on your radar yet, but fear not; we’re here to put you on. This past Friday, the Minneapolis-based singer/composer released Self-soothing, an immersive experience that takes listeners on a sonic healing journey through layered piano, synths, and Invie’s ethereal voice. The album’s first single, “Called A Fool,” is a chilled-out affair featuring dreamy harp and saxophone, plus electronic flourishes from producer Andrew Broder. Nona describes the record as a deeply personal journey and hopes it brings comfort to others. We dig that! Self-soothing is out now via Boiled Records.

Taken By Tides – Texas-based alternative metal band Taken By Tides dropped a hot new single and music. “Ghost Vibrations” explores lead singer Omar Martinez’s frustration and anticipation as he waits for calls that could change his life. “Ghost vibration” symbolizes the emotional rollercoaster of expectation and disappointment. We’ve all been there, right? Produced by the band and co-written with Zachary Williamson, “Ghost Vibrations” follows last year’s impactful EP It Ends With You. The story definitely isn’t ending here. A Joy So Slow At Times I Don’t Think It’s Coming is set to drop on May 16 via Mick Music. Produced by Mike Sapone, the album blends grunge, emo, and shoegaze with raw self-reflective storytelling that dives deep into Flores’ personal journey through grief and resilience. The first single, “Gruesome,” is a hard-hitting anthem that serves as a great taste of what listeners can expect from Slow Joy’s album.

Skip Marley – Generational talent Skip Marley returns with a hot new remix of his hit single “Close,” featuring dancehall powerhouses Ding Dong and Masicka. The remix injects the track with electrifying island energy and a bold, infectious bounce. With these three Jamaican creatives coming together on the same track, it’s no surprise that it’s an undeniable party anthem. The original track, which pulls from Maxi Priest’s 1990 hit “Close to You,” and this remix showcases Skip’s ability to blend reggae, R&B, and pop into a sound that’s all his own.
