One of my favourite experiences last year was going with The Queen and our little Princess to see the Tim Burton exhibit that was here in Toronto for a few months. It was amazing looking at the props, films and images that have come out of Burton’s brain over the last 30 years. While I can’t say I love every film the man has made (Planet Of The Apes does not hold up to repeat viewing), the trailer for Frankenweenie, the full length feature based on the director’s original stop-motion short, looks to be the perfect Burton film; part innovation, part homage.
