Four Horsemen Studios have revealed the details of their Beyithirr crowd fund campaign. Starting at $550 (plus taxes and shipping) you get a dragon that checks in at 22 inches tall, 12 inches wide and over 31 inches long. Thats bigger than most coffee tables and we haven’t even discussed the add-ons which take the overall length to 70 inches and increases the height to 28 inches. It’s big. It’s beautiful. It’s everything you could possibly want in a highly articulated Mythic Legions dragon. Let’s take a look at what’s included in the Beyithirr campaign!
BEYITHIRR, THE PILLAR OF THE WEST
The included Beyithirr figure measures approximately 22” from the bottom of his feet to the tip of his wings, 12” wide, and 31” from snout to tail when the tail is curled up. He features over 50 points of articulation including an articulated jaw and ratchets in the wings and limbs for added stability when posing!
This is your starter pack. If you want anything else in this offering, you gotta ante up $550 to buy into the base Beyithirr. The campaign moves into production once 2000 units are sold.
The available unlocks that have been announced are:
Sir Benegarr, Champion of Beyithirr figure added at 2500 units sold
Sir Benegarr upgrade weapons set and soft goods added at 3000 units sold. This includes the broad sword and scabbard, dragon sigil shield boss. dagger, lance, and extra head – plus the full set of soft goods.
Ashen Skeleton figure added at 3500 units sold
Ashen Skeleton upgrade set added at 4000 units sold. This includes 2 additional skeleton heads (vampire and orc), 1 extra set of hands, 1 spear, and 1 shield.
There’s also two add-on options (each with their own individual unlocks) if you want to plus up your dragon even further.
The “Fiery Breath” set includes an entire new neck and head set. The neck is extended and longer than the one that comes with Beyithirr by default, and the new head is sculpted with the mouth fully open as if it was breathing fire! Of course, that “fire effect” is also included. The effect is made up of two pieces – the flame cone that plugs into Beythirr’s open mouth and the ring of fire at the base that the cone sits inside.
In addition to the additional head/neck and flame effects, you also get the Burning Knight. This figure is fully engulfed in the powerful breath of the dragon, his body still hot with the intense flames! The Fiery Breath set requires 1000 units sold to go into production. If 1250 units are sold, you’ll receive an upgrade kit that includes an additional engulfed head, additional boots and hands and a shield.
You can add-on the Fiery Breath for $150.
The “Epic Wings” set includes a pair of giant, fully extended wings that increase the overall size and presence of Beyithirr!
In addition to the wings, you also get an Ashen Zombie to go along with your potential Ashen Skeleton. The Epic Wings set requires 1000 units sold to go into production. Not to leave you hanging, like the jaw of our Zombie friend here, the Horsemen have included a way to upgrade the Zombie with an unlock. At 1250 units sold, you’ll get an upgrade kit that includes 2 additional zombie heads, 1 extra set of hands, 1 sword, and 1 shield.
You can add-on the Epic Wings for $150.
Prior to the launch of the campaign, I’d have guessed Beyithirr would have funded within the first weekend. I may have overestimated the enthusiasm of the community, or their might be something happening with the economy at the moment that’s causing some concerns. Either way, a week into the campaign, Beyithirr is at 55% of it’s required 2000 units Sold and both Add-Ons are well over 60%. I’m still confident that it will fund, but the Ashen Skeleton and it’s upgrade kit could be something that takes a while to unlock.
In total to get a fully loaded Beyithirr to my doorstep in late 2026 it would cost me just shy of $1000. While I see the value and believe I could get my money out of it should I need to sell it in the future, I’m not confident making any decision about what life will look like in late 2026. If I need to cut and run from a humanitarian crisis inflicted by a narcissistic wannabe dictator, I won’t have the luxury of bringing along a giant dragon.
If you want your own Beyithirr, get your order in by April 6 at 11pm EST.
