We’re a little less than three weeks away from the release of Megalopolis, written and directed by Francis Ford Coppola. The film has been gestating for decades until the esteemed Coppola made the decision to finance the film himself. Whether it’s a success or not we’ll soon see, though I have a feeling we’re going to see a repeat of Kevin Costner’s Horizon gamble from earlier this summer.
All that being said, a new trailer (this one minus the AI–generated false copy that the previous trailer contained before it was pulled) has arrived that gives us a longest look yet at what the visionary behind The Godfather films and Apocalypse Now has created.
Megalopolis arrives in theatres September 27.
