It’s been a tough go for adaptations of the works of Clive Barker; the last great one (in my humble opinion at least) was Midnight Meat Train, and that was way back in 2008. Things could be changing though, with the arrival of Books of Blood for Hulu. That series of books remains Barker’s most horrific work, and its short stories are ripe for the telling.
