This past Sunday, the Princess and I were extremely lucky to check out Nintendo’s Holiday Party and try out some of the hottest games coming to the Switch this season. Along with a delicious buffet breakfast (including some really good coffee, thank you very much), guests were treated to multiple stations where they could try out Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Pokemon – Let’s Go Pikachu and Let’s Go Eevee, the new Nintendo Labo Driving Set and lots more.
The Princess made time for all the games, though to be honest, the big deal for her was getting to use the Pokeball Plus, which looks to be as essential a component to the new games as you get.
Perhaps most exciting though, was sitting with her for her first ever interview. It took place with Nintendo of Canada’s Communication Manager, Andrew Collins. Andrew knew it advance that he’d be talking to The Princess, and was wonderful in interacting with her, as she asked questions about the new games, what he liked to play and more. She even let me ask a few question myself, as we looked at the growth of the Switch over the past year.
