If you had to pin me down to establish my favourite albums of all time, it’s guaranteed that The Who’s awesome 1973 double record Quadrophenia would at least in the top 20, if not higher. While many swear by Tommy, for me, this tale of mods and rockers has always been my go to when I want to listen to The Who – the music is a mix of epic progressive music (the title track), rockers (The Real Me, 5:15), and a ballad to end all ballads (Love Reign O’er Me). Though the band never quite pulled the album off in the 70’s (Keith Moon was never one to play to a click track), in the past twenty years The Who was able to perform it on two separate tours, the most recent of which was ran from 2012-2013. The tour’s final date in London was recorded for the brand new The Who Quadrophenia Live In London DVD, which you now have a chance to win, courtesy of our friend’s at Universal Music Canada.
