A bit of hot news coming from the good folks at Deadline. Apparently, Marvel Studios is working on yet another tv series for ABC, this one based on Captain America’s gal pal from the first film, Peggy Carter (played by Peggy Atwell). The character is staring in the new short film, Agent Carter. The Marvel shorts have been highly entertaining, and in the case of Item 47, helped lead into the new Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. program debuting this Tuesday. Deadline says that the new series is in the very early planning stages, but if Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is the hit we all think it’s going to be, this one will be a no-brainer.
