A Documentary For All Mankind – The Life And Career Of Mick Foley Reviewed
If you were a wrestling fan during the heady days of the late ’90s Attitude era, you know that one of the greatest performers during that time was Mankind.
Or was it Dude Love?
Or was it Cactus Jack?
Or was it Mick Foley?
It’s was definitely that guy who The Undertaker threw off the top of the Hell In A Cell.
“Good God Almighty, they’ve killed him!”
That might be Mick Foley’s most talked about moment, but the Hardcore Legend is more than just a crazy stunt, as his new Blu-ray/DVD set For All Mankind – The Life And Career of Mick Foley demonstrates.

Biff Bam Pop’s Holiday Gift Guide: WWE Blu-Rays & The WWE Encyclopedia
If there’s a wrestling fan in your life, this holiday season there are a ton of great gifts out there. So many that if you give that special someone even just one, you’re guranteed to receive a promo of love if (yes, I’m talking wrestling-speak here). While all the monthly WWE Pay-Per-Views are available if you missed any during the course of the year (Wrestlemania being the biggest and Hell In The Cell in the most recent release), WWE has also put out a strong bunch of Blu-Rays/DVDs based on some of their most popular moments and athletes. Here’s a few recommendation:
CM Punk: Best In The World: this documentary highlights the ups and downs that the biggest breakthrough star of the last few years has faced as he’s climbed to the top of the WWE. Many critics have called this the best documentary WWE has produced since The Rise and Fall of ECW nearly ten years ago. The three-DVD/two-Blu-Ray set includes Punk’s most memorable matches and promos and is essential viewing for all fans.

For Life Or Just A Few Years Of Glory – NWO: The Revolution Reviewed
In the late 1990′s wrestling was all the rage. And for the briefest moment in time, the rage was caused by World Championship Wrestling and their band of former World Wrestling Federation stars, the New World Order.
I remember describing the NWO to my girlfriend at the time as this – you have your good guys, your bad guys and then the EVEN worse guys. That’s the NWO.
And yes, that’s right. I was watching wrestling AND had a girlfriend.
The NWO helped WCW dominate the Monday night wrestling wars for a good two years, and nearly helped put the WWF out of business. However, poor planning and stoylines and complete mismanagement eventually led WWF to purchase their rival, and along with it, all the NWO footage and trademarks, which is now on display in the new Blu-Ray/DVD collection NWO: The Revolution. Straight Edge and Stellar – CM Punk: Best In The World Reviewed
Calling oneself the best in the world at anything is always a bold claim, usually driven by ego rather than by fact. But in the case of WWE Champion CM Punk, the most recent breakout professional wrestling superstar, the proof is in the pudding, and in the new Blu-Ray/DVD CM Punk: Best In The World.
The Road To Wrestlemania: A Look At Stone Cold Steve Austin: The Bottom Line On The Greatest Superstar Of All Time DVD
If you were a teenager or in your early 20s towards the end of the 1990s, the sound of glass crashing could only mean one thing.
Stone Cold Steve Austin was on your television screen. And changing the face of sports entertainment and pop culture like no professional wrestler had done before him.
The Road To Wrestlemania: A Look At The Epic Journey Of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson DVD
A few weeks ago, the Queen and I went to see Journey 2: The Mysterious Island. This wouldn’t have been our first choice, mind you, but it was the only film we could fit into our limited time out. Journey 2 had received solid notices from Biff Bam Pop’s Perry Schwartz and his daughter Maddie (you can read their review here), so we figured we’d at the very least be entertained. Admittedly, I and the mass amounts of 1o year olds enjoyed the movie more than the Queen, but the one thing we both could agree on was just how charming Journey 2′s lead, Dwayne Johnson, was.
Of course he’s charming. He’s The Rock.
