Win Tickets to Queen’s Hungarian Rhapsody – Live in Budapest

freddie mercuryQueen is an act that transcends time and bridges the gap between mine and my parents’ generation… and if there is one artist I regret never getting to see, it’s the legendary Freddie Mercury.

But thanks to Cineplex and Eagle Rock Entertainment, the Hungarian stop on the 1986 Magic Tour is being brought back to life in theatres this fall.

Even better, we’ve got a contest!

You can win two tickets to a special screening of Hungarian Rhapsody: Queen Live in Budapest this Thursday, September 20, 2012, at the Scotiabank Theatre, Toronto at 7:30 p.m.

How to Win:

Simply leave a comment below, or tweet a message that includes @BiffBamPop and #QueenLive and you’ll be entered to win!

We will pick one winner at 12:01am on September 20th, 2012 and their name will be provided to the theatre box office guestlist +1 for the 7:30pm show.

For those who don’t win, Eagle Rock Entertainment plans a home release of Hungarian Rhapsody: Queen Live in Budapest on November 6, 2012.

  1. Great contest! Huge fan of Killer Queen!

  2. True story: I’m teaching this after school art class a few years ago to 6 and 7 year olds and I like to keep them entertained with 70′s and 80′s pop culture trivia that they couldn’t know – just to hear their made up answers. It’s entertaining.

Anyway, one day I ask them about their fave 70′s or 80′s stadium rock band. One little boy quickly pipes up: “Queen.”

I’m curious. I challenge him. I say: “Ok. Cool. Fave Queen rock song?”

He smiles wryly – and I mean “wryly” like he knows EXACTLY what he’s saying – and yells out: “Fat Bottom Girls!”

I immediately spill my tray of coloured pipe cleaners and Elmer’s glue.

    Cool kid.
