Watch With Amanda: TV Scoop including an Office spinoff and casting news
- Is Dwight Schrute leaving The Office? It seems that’s the case… but don’t worry, he won’t be far. Deadline is reporting that NBC is working on an Office spinoff starring Rainn Wilson as Dwight. Although nothing is set in stone yet, the plan is to have the show launch in early 2013. The comedy, which was the brainchild of Wilson and The Office executive producer/showrunner Paul Lieberstein and will revolve around the Schrute family beet farm and bed & breakfast, which has been featured on the show several times. The Comic Stop Exclusive Interview: Joshua Luna Talks Whispers
One of the most well regarded teams in comic books today are the Luna Brothers, writer Joshua and and artist Jonathan. Together, they crafted stellar series like Girls, The Sword and Ultra. Now, Joshua Luna is working solo on his new Image Comics creator-owned series, Whispers. The series has already received some serious buzz, including highlighting last week’s Wednesday Run, which you can read here.
